JDC has put the timeless Jewish value of mutual responsibility into action. We are there for Jewish communities across the world, when and where they need us most.
Today, JDC upholds this mission by lifting lives and strengthening Jewish communities in 70 countries. We care deeply about global Jewish connectivity and offer transformative travel opportunities that bring like-minded philanthropists closer to our humanitarian work and one another.
Traveling to the field with JDC is an unparalleled engagement tool. Time and again, these trips deepen donor commitment to the JDC programs they care about most.
JDC Travel presents fieldwork to cultivate major donors and forge strategic partnerships vital for our mission of saving Jewish lives and building Jewish life globally.
We offer travel opportunities for a range of philanthropic audiences, including JDC Board Members, Ambassadors, Foundations, and other major donors or prospects. These strategic partners are invited to participate in JDC Global Expeditions, Emergency Fly-Ins, or exclusive travel experiences.
Additionally, we offer the Jewish Federation system visitor's access to JDC programs for national JFNA missions and local Federation trips. Other strategic partners include synagogues, community organizations, academic programs, and more.
Travel destinations are selected through a thoughtful annual process that considers organizational funding priorities, emerging travel trends, Jewish heritage, and current events. Trips are often timed to coincide with Jewish holidays or local community milestones, enriching the travel experience and deepening engagement with JDC's work.
Our local operators are chosen for their quality and reliability, familiarity with JDC's local offices/Jewish communities, and experience with our high-profile audience. We gather multiple price quotes from different land agents for comparison and stay informed on other organizations' offerings to ensure JDC experiences meet industry standard.
The missions are priced solely on ground costs, excluding international flights. Typically, the estimate includes expenses for one staff member and 2-3 local guests at meals.
Pricing for individual travelers is customized to their specific needs, including transportation, VIP services, guides, meals, and more. We provide a detailed cost estimate in advance and invoice travelers after their trip. Additionally, we can connect travelers with a local guide or driver, allowing them to coordinate plans and handle payment directly.
Beyond group trips, the JDC Travel Team facilitates unforgettable moments for individual donors. We often arrange unique family heritage and special interest touchpoints, on request. Flexibility is offered for early arrival or extended stays in the countries visited. We even curate JDC experiences to seamlessly integrate into donors' personal travel itineraries.
