Short answer

What makes an effective sales proposal?

An effective sales proposal is clear, tailored, and focused on the client’s needs. It identifies their challenges, offers a compelling solution, and highlights measurable benefits.

Engaging visuals, concise language, and a strong call to action make it stand out and drive decisions.

NOTE: This blog post will focus on showing examples of sales proposals for different use cases. If you want to learn more about how to create your deck step by step, we’ve got a guide on how to write a sales proposal, as well as a guide on how to write a sales proposal email.

Sales proposal examples that get you deals

Let’s dive into some sales proposal examples that actually close deals.

We’ll explore 3 key types—service, product, and project proposals—so no matter what you’re selling, you’ll find exactly what you need.

These examples stand out because they’re client-focused, impactful, and built to deliver results. You can draw inspiration from them to create your own successful sales proposal.

Service proposal examples

Medical service proposal by Healthy.io

This proposal is for Healthy.io’s Minuteful Kidney solution, offering at-home ACR testing to tackle Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

What I loved about it was how it combined powerful storytelling with hard-hitting data to highlight the urgency of CKD testing.

The design is interactive and engaging, making everything clear without overwhelming you.

It felt less like a pitch and more like a meaningful conversation about solving a critical problem, which made it so much easier to see how their solution fits perfectly.

Sales proposal by Wolfe Inc.

Next, we’ve got a sales proposal from Wolfe Inc., pitching their employment drug testing and background check services.

My only issue with it is that if I got this as an outreach deck without much context, I’d be a bit confused about what they actually offer. The cover hints at software, but the proposal is really about their drug testing services.

That aside, it’s a masterclass in presenting all the essential details without overwhelming you.

They’ve tucked extra information into tabs, so you can easily find what you need without wading through walls of text. It’s smart, clean, and incredibly user-friendly.

Marketing services proposal

This proposal focuses on Facebook ads management, but it’s flexible enough to work for other types of marketing services too.

What I love is how it guides you through everything that matters—starting with objectives and a service overview, then diving into how results will be tracked, how the campaign will roll out, and what it’s going to cost.

It could benefit from a bit more personalization, like a slide dedicated to a specific client’s strategy or the types of content you’d use and why. That said, these are easy tweaks, and the deck already gives you a strong foundation to build on.

Product proposal examples

Product proposal by WiseStamp

Next, we’ve got a product proposal from WiseStamp, presenting their email signature management solution. I love using this one as an example because it nails everything a sales proposal should be.

What hooked me immediately was how personalized it feels from the very first slide, making it seem like it was created just for you.

By linking your CRM to the editor, you can pull in your prospect’s name effortlessly. But the real magic? The introduction slide automatically updates the email signature with their details.

It’s such a clever touch—it doesn’t just tell the prospect what they’re getting; it shows them exactly how it’ll look once they’re a paying customer. It’s simple, brilliant, and incredibly effective.

Food supplements proposal by LKE

Here’s a great sales proposal from one of our clients, LKE, designed to pitch their range of food supplements, including kratom powders, capsules, and extracts.

What I really appreciate is how it doesn’t assume the audience already knows what kratom is. Instead, it starts with a simple, clear explanation of what it is and what it’s used for.

It keeps things accessible too—no overwhelming medical jargon, just key numbers and details neatly organized in tabs.

And the unique value proposition slide? One of the best I’ve seen. By the end, prospects know exactly why this matters and why they should care.

SaaS product business proposal

This final product proposal is built for a SaaS solution, but it’s versatile enough to work for any type of tech product.

What stands out right away is the clear table of contents—it’s a great way to organize more detailed proposals, giving prospects a quick overview of what to expect.

I also love the logo strip. It’s perfect for tech products, letting you showcase your client list or integration partners without overwhelming the reader.

And the best part? A full terms and conditions slide complete with an e-signature, making it an ideal choice for closing-stage proposal decks. It’s clean, professional, and gets the job done.

Project proposal examples

Business project proposal

This project proposal example is easily one of my favorites.

I’ll admit, at first glance, it might seem like a lot to take in because of all the information it packs in, but the layout is so intuitive that you barely notice.

What I love most is the clear problem-solution framework—it’s straightforward and easy to follow.

Key sections like the executive summary and project details even have video placeholders, letting you embed videos instead of overwhelming prospects with walls of text.

The appendices slide is brilliant too. You can tuck all those extra documents prospects might need right into the proposal, keeping everything neat and organized in one place.

Project proposal for a consulting agency

This next project proposal has a similar structure to the previous one, but it’s even more versatile.

Two things really stand out to me:

First, the team slide. It includes a text placeholder where you can add extra details about each team member.

This is such a smart touch—it’s great for adding personality to your proposal and building trust by showing relevant experience with similar projects.

Second, the pricing slide. It’s perfectly structured with expandable text sections that let you include detailed info about each item. This way, clients can see exactly what they’re paying for, which makes it so much easier to get them on board.

General project proposal

I picked this project proposal because of how clean and straightforward it is. It doesn’t overwhelm you with too much detail, making it a great fit for initial outreach when you don’t need to dive into exact deliverables or pricing yet.

The project scope is laid out so clearly, and the “What’s in it for you” slide is a standout—it makes the value of working together so easy to grasp.

I also love the summary of project details at the end, paired with the offer expiration date. It’s a smart way to gently nudge prospects further down the sales funnel without being pushy.
