In the immediate aftermath, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) - the world's leading Jewish humanitarian organisation - starts work in Abaco.
Aug 2021
The Blue Atlas Project - a non-profit dedicated to rebuilding food systems in the wake of disasters - builds the Food Equity and Sustainability Training Center: a school garden that doubles as a community training hub.
May 2022
Volcani International Partnerships - an NGO tackling food insecurity by sharing Israel's agricultural expertise - partners with JDC and Blue Atlas to launch a new initiative designed to enhance local agriculture.
